That is just a stereotype. A lot of people do or have done cocaine, including many white professionals. It's a nasty, expensive habit for a lot of groups, not just African-Americans.
Why is Yahoo answers so popular to idiots asking stupid questions? Is it because their small brains don't allow them to ask any intelligent questions? Just wondering.

the thing is its easy to get there, think about chocolate is from coco plants(cocaine plants). People can take the leaves and make homemade cocaine. Now people are keeping close watch on stealers and employments smuggling the drugs.

I guess the same reason why ecstacy, LSD, mushrooms, etc are popular to white people, and don't get it twisted, cocaine is not popular to African-Americans, cocaine is popular to rich, white kids, believe me, I know, grown up around the druggies my whole life

I'm sure you can find a wealth fo info online about the introduction of cocaine into poor black neighborhoods during the 60s by the CIA....
This is not a conspiracy theory either, it is actually true if you care to research it. I tihnk the CIA even came clean about it.

I don't think it is only popular with African Americans. I know that many white people and other races do it. I really don't know where you got your information. Coke is expensive and many rich people that you wouldn't expect do it. I thought it was known as the rich mans drug.
