Id like you all more if you started to give a stuff about the environment for 1, stopped invading other countries for 2, and prob some other things too.

And I know that these are sweeping generalisations as there are some parts which ARE very eco friendly CA unless I am mistaken, but otherwise I really dont think you all realise just how lucky you are to be that 6% of the worlds population living in a country with 20% of the worlds resources (thats old data so might be a bit out)

I DO like my uncle and cousins mind. Living in Portland and Maryland.

Thats probably my longest answer to date, cherish it!

Of course we do. you are just picking up the negative comments, because they are the ones that hit a nerve. Try to not let them bother you. Usually it is so called "British" people saying negative things about America & Americans. These will often be people of other ethnic backgrounds, who parents may have immigrated to the UK. Their roots are not in Britain and they do not respect the ties that our two nations have. They don't understand it, as they have not had grandparents fight in the world wars. Ignorant they are.

The rest who tend to be rude about America are just below average intelligence, a bit like trailer trash. We call them Chavs.

I really like America and I'd rather Britain are allies with you guys than any other country in the world. I think both our nations benefit from each other. We are all cousins anyway, in one way or another.

Yes, the few American people I have met I liked very much - it's just the current USA President Brits on the whole do not like because of his influence on our Prime Minister Tony Blair and Mr Bush's Make War not Love attitude.

Yes, I like Americans but as someone said, it depends on the individual. I've made a lot of American friends online and most of them have been lovely. I would like to go to America eventually and meet some of my friends.

Yes, of course we like the Americans as in many ways we are related. The Americans have a democratic free country just like we do and they cherish freedom like we do, so of course we like the Americans. In fact the U.K is closer in relations to America than we are to Europe and many people would prefer it if the U.K was to become an American state

It depends on each individual. some people see americans as just other people except on a different country. i love the american accent, if i went over there and met someone who was horrible it wouldn't change my view because its just one person and every country have its good and bad people.

i dont really think of it as whether i like americans or not i think of it as i like america it has some really great places of interest and i would love to visit

I think that the general conclusion is that we like Americans, we tend to see the worst from TV shows and assume that everyone lives like Nick and Jessica or have MTV waiting to shoot Cribs. Like every other nation, people who are good to know on an individual basis will be well liked and the fact that you are different makes you more, not less, attractive to know

Yes, I like the Americans. I find them friendly. It is not one sided.

Been to the USA 3 times already and am about to go again at the end of August.

I like a large number of Americans that I've met on the net. Is that good enough or should I start hugging your tourists hen they ask me directions on the centre of London?
