I've been using an at-home school kit. I'm up to 160 wpm, but now I'm scared that I won't be able to get a job once I got to 225wmp since I didn't go to a real school

As long as you can reach the speed there should be no problems.

at-home is ok too. you may have less opportunity than someone that went to a brick and mortar, but many at-homes are now accepted. if you know what you're talking about, it will show through more than the way you learned it.

There is always someone out there that will give you a chance. Don't give up because your scared.

Janitors are always RESUME-FREE

on a serious note...
u need experience...it's hard and chance of failure is high in that field.
