Depends which part of UK. I think here in Scotland we are a bit less impressed by all the hype than further south.

Some of the residents of the UK do care. They pay attention to international news just like we do here in the states. US Celebs often travel to the UK.

depends on your defintion of us celebs.
If you mean ones that have made it on their own without a tv show (ie stars of tomorrow or what ever they are called) then yes. Ie Eminem, Obie Trice, Wesley Snipes, lou diamond phillips etc.
If you mean the ones that have only made it because they have appeared on a tv talent show then no haven't got the slightest interest in them at all.

I don't know if they would care about them in the same way the care about a close friend or family member. I think they are interested in parts of their life but mostly just endure them.

not all celebs are American, Orlando bloom and keira knightley are British, and so many people such as myself look forward to when then come back to Britain their home land. many don't care because they think that celebs have money and just spend it on themselves.

If someone has made it to "celebrity" status in the US, they usually deserve the title in the UK and elsewhere. It's a little bitty world, these days.

yes i have been to l.a seen stars on the street by gromans theater stayed in the rosavelt hotel when i was there thay where filming mighty joe young then we went to vegas and went in a plane over the grand canion

id been in london for 2 times.and believe me they realy care us celebs as much as they care their owns.they watch all the comedy series from us.and they loved sex and the city and they watched it every night.

well do people over there care about the UK celebrities, and why not? here in scotland we haven't heard of most US celebrities. and you probably haven't heard of ours
