Why do music videos portray black/Latina women and slutty and hoes, and White women in music videos are portrayed as pure and men have to fight to earn their love?

Does this effect society and how we treat women of different races when we date?

Because black/latina women are minorities and are considered less than and looked down on. When white women are so supposedly pure and clean and would never do anything unholy unless it was a black/latino man that made her do it. Basically it is just a bunch of bullshit. Hoes come in all colors.

Its just like when they say the music we listen to or the movies that we watch corrupt the minds of viewers. In some cases it does but not for all. You perceive people the way you're taught so it all goes back to your upbringing.
What I'm trying to say is, its the lack of role models and the exaggeration of media that effects how we look at women, but its our parents that's ultimately at fault for the way we behave as individuals. One the same note if women were to go against the grain (being the trends that are produced in videos), I believe it would make these knuckle heads treat them with much more respect.

I don't agree with you. There are a lot of black/latina women portrayed badly, but there are just as many white women on that bandwagon, as well. I think it's the hip-hop culture in general, not race that dictates how women are treated.

There are lots of black and latino women who portray themselves as respectable members of society. Queen Latifah comes to mind.

Quit your hatin! White women don't have it any easier than everyone else.
