I went from 4 low put the tranny into nutral tried to go back to 4 high and then nothing happened. Grinding noise when I put it into park? Whats Wrong

It's possible that it's something as simple as linkage being out of alignment/adjustment, but is also sounds like your transmission just failed. Hope I'm wrong.

Try putting the machine in reverse and back up 15-20 feet or so. Then try shifting out of 4 low. Try it all, shift your transfer case into neutral and shift your transmission into different gears. Give the motor a little rev every time you make a change in gear selections. Sounds like you need to use your four wheel drive more often. You may get by this time. Good luck.
