Yes goldfish tend to turn white naturally! but you have a problem if you have a fish in a CAGE! maybe it is pissed because you do not have it in water! you know fish need water and a cage will not hold water! try getting a fish bowl

That surprizingly sounds kinda normal to me. I see goldfish change to orange and white or just white all the time.
I also used to have a goldfish that would KILL any other fish I put in with it. I think they must be territorial or something.
Anyway, it is just a fish. If you dont want it anymore, put it in a nearby pond outside. It will live.

Do NOT flush it, do NOT put it in a lake or pond, do NOT do anything!!!! Just keep it in a bowl or tank by itself. Goldfish do not get along with other fish, aside from catfish, so don't put any other fish in the tank with it. They are usually peaceful fish, but when it comes to fish outside their species, they HATE them. So, either give up on trying to have something in with the goldfish, unless it's to feed him, or you can get a bowl to keep the goldfish in by itself, so that you can have the tank for other fish.

I have many many Goldfish (over 60,in large ponds) in my two ponds,on occasions I have ADDED others from friends ponds which they no longer wanted. They have lived happily together for many years. Some goldfish DO change colour but I'm inclined to think that this fish is NOT a goldfish!! On NO occasion have I encountered what you are describing! Please don't destroy it,try to find a home for it,someone may be able to take it!

nicely if yu dont have a clear out or air bubbles it ought to have difficulty respiratory and its mouth and gills are shifting quickly via fact its attempting to gasp for air . nicely if yu have a clear out and the waters shifting around possibly the fish basically desires greater oxygen , so i might propose a bubbler ... extraordinarily via fact the tank is a sprint smaller than what it is going to likely be .

Kill it. Or just put it in it's own bowl thing. My goldfish asways killed themselves. They swam up to the filter and got stuck in it. I say kill him.
