I would have to say Eye of the tiger.
Yes there all corny as you say but to me, that one stands out.

I've got to agree. These are three of the most abundantly bad offerings in the history of pop theme song music. My daughter was listening to some eighties music in a shoe store, and asked me what was wrong with the music. It took a minute, then I nailed it. There was a brief period where every song featured a Phoenix-like rise from the ashes, a big realization, a finding of one's true self. I think you have identified the perpetrators of this bogus trend in your question.
Now, in all fairness, this music must die; starting with the all-time worst, The Final Countdown!

The Final Countdown is the WORST. We were all singing that song to the Bride and Groom on their rehersal. Even the Minister had to stop and busted a gut laughing.
