She's kind of like Yoko Ono.
I had a friend who was convinced that Courtney Love had Kurt killed.
I don't hate her. I don't like her and I think her music sucks, but I don't hate her.

She's funny. Once in drama, we had to do a talk show so we did a public access talk show interviewing out of work Disney characters and our drunken Tinkerbell was modeled after Courtney Love.

Some people hate her because they think she killed Kurt Cobain and because she has made some unpopular but profitable decisions with the writings & recordings left after his death. Some would associate the following phrases with her: no talent, embarrassing antics, obnoxious behavior, courtroom drama, etc.
Sure, she's got some issues that she's sort of put on public display, but I dunno -- none of it makes me ANGRY or HATEFUL toward her. I'd maybe feel different if I believed she killed her husband (then again, maybe I wouldn't -- not my job to judge her!) like one of my friends believes & hates her for it, but I don't believe she killed him. As far as her talent -- I don't care what anyone says, I loved Hole's album "Live Through This" and "Celebrity Skin" was okay too.

I think she's a person with MANY MANY issues to deal with and because she is a celebrity, those issues are public domain..It's unfortunate that her daughter has to be part of her wild and crazy lifestyle..so no i don't hate her..i feel sorry for her..and her daughter..
