I want to start a company selling funny T-shirts, bumper stickers, etc. and put a little money in the pockets of local comedians. I figured if they submitted something and it sells they would get a little back. Can one make money on these or are they so novelity that it isn't worth starting.

It's legal. I see no reason why it shouldn't be. A lot of people use etsy to sell stuff they make, but i am sure ebay would work just as well. Good luck!

They have a program where you can start your own company. I haven't looked into it extensively, but it seems to me that you could work at your own pace and see how it works out before you decide to invest serious cash in a company.

Hope that helps!

No, all the funny T-shirts you see were distributed by non-profit organizations, mostly the Salvation Army. I understand it actually cost them $18.73 for every T-shirt they put out there.
