Yes adware is bad...
Most of it is ALSO spyware that monitors your personal info so as to get you the ads...
Remove it by using 2 excellent (and free) products: SPYBOT and WINDOWS DEFENDER

Adware,Malware,Spyware...All do the same job dear.When you install a s/w from any unreliable site...Many times that s/w may contain code snippets which rest inside ur system and collect the vital information entered and save them in cookies and relay them over the internet to a pre-specified location.So, its a security breach if at all u access ur banking services thru the net.All your personal information like ur name,address,job,bank details,credit card info..all will fall into the wrong hands.So, BEWARE when you donwload an install the various s/ws.

You should keep. it because it removes all the spyware you have on your computer. well i use spybot, it like adware. if you want to downloaded, go to www.download.com then search spybot

generally some sites use adwares for advertisment porpuses. they can't harm ur system but they may bother u.
yes delete them.

If it's the real ad-aware it's not bad. That program is a medium strength pop up killer and spam killer. Make sure it's the REAL ad-aware.
