Is it possible that there were any fire-breathing dinosaurs?

Is it possible that there were any fire-breathing dinosaurs? I am not thinking of dragons nor other myths. Dinosaurs people dinosaurs. Read the question.

Well, of course it is possible, but I can't think that it is likely at all, and certainly there is absolutely no evidence for the existence of such a creature.

Obviously, simply because of the nature of geology and biology a huge number of species left no trace in the fossil record and of those that did many are yet to be discovered.

However, on what is known of reptiles in general and dinosaurs in particular - I'd have to say it's unfortunately a fanciful (although very nice) idea...

ok the balmbader beatle is a beatle that has 2 bladers in its thorax containing 2 chemicals hydrogen peroxide and i cant remember the other one but he realeses them at the saim time and beleave it of not he shoots fire out his but as a defince mechinisum many dinosaurs had odly shaped sculls and unexplained large cavities in there sculls with toobs coming out twards the front of there mouth in the bible there is a creature refurd to a laviathen witch did this. THE IDEA OF DRAGONS CAME FROM SOMWHERE!!!! and dinosaurs are also painted on the walls of the ruins of babalon so basicly dont believe everything you hear in school if you want more info i can give you some good sights----david_shepherd80@yahoo.com sorry i cant type or spell worth crap hope i helped

How would anyone find out if they did? They are extinct, so we may never know.

Seems to be unlikely, since no living animal can do it, and no one can think of a way that would make it physically possible (unless he burps lots of methane gas produced by fermented plant material in his belly -- but how would he light it?).

the ledge is that they had eaten so many fire flies that that there tongue glowed. ;;;;;;;;;;;;; and believe it or not the same is going on today with frogs,and i read that about the animals in kids.national graphite's dec.2006 issue.
