Whenever you vacumm up a spider change the bag. Or get someone to change it for you and put in the trash.
They can live in the bag and spin webs. They are quite comfortable in there. It's just that every time you use the vacumm
(and believe me, they hope you are a very seldom vacumm person) they feel like Dorothy of the Wizard of Oz when the tornado comes into the house. They have strong little legs. They
can hold on. Just replace the bag frequently.

It can still live in a vacuum. I've sucked up asian beetles before (at least I think that's what they were--Iowa was filled with them a few summers ago. They look like lady bugs but aren't.) and they still lived inside the vacuum. What you want to do is get a handheld vacuum with a filter, then pull the filter out and shake it out outside the house.
Or, wad up a paper towel and smoosh it. That'll take care of it for sure. lol.
or if you're really freaked, get someone to smoosh it for you.

It most likely suffocated in all the dust and dirt it's sitting in right now, if it wasn't squished by the rotating brushes. It will certainly die of hunger because its food sources aren't available. Hope you don't have bad dreams about it!
