Is there a home remedy to rid an area of hornets?

My friend is camping and the site hase many hornets. Does anyone know of anything like a home remedy to rid the area of them?

you can put about 1/2 to 1 cup of dish soap into a spray bottle fill the rest with water and spray them with that.
The soap sticks to thier wings and it will usually kill them off
