I have heard of the one in TN but don't know much about it. They have a website... http://www.elephants.com/

As far as the category, I don't think there is a general animal section.

I have heard about it. There was a special on TV about it a while ago, but I don't remember if it was in TN or not. They rescued orphaned babies and had a keeper that stayed with them 24-7. I love elephants and it made me cry when one got sick. Is this what you mean? I would love to find more info... there's probably an article on it in the TV channel's website. I don't remember which one broadcasted it tho!

i saw a show about this on Animal Planet, they have several retired elephants there and give them a wonderful life. They didn't say where they were located. Later I was looking at the Steppenwolf site and it said that his home was outside Nashville. It also said one of his son's works at the elephant sanctury. So. the elephant sanctury is just outside Nashville,although they said it's not open to the public.

have heard of that. there was a link on a site some land for sale was on - looks nice. There's also one in FL - 200 acres $5million facility. Good place to be an elephant!
