About an hour or so, unless it's a day where I need to spend extra time-ie shaving things etc, or redoing nails and such...about ten minutes in the shower normally, dry off and put on lots of lotion everywhere, and fragrance, then put on something comfy and let my hair dry naturally for a while; then the multitasking begins, lol. I blowdry my hair upside down and every which way, and since it is thick it usually takes a while...so I put on makeup, jewelry, etc meanwhile. How you ask? Haha, I've been doing this stuff about 29 years, I am a pro and getting quite ambidextrous besides. Besides, I wear very little makeup-no base or concealor or anything. Sometimes I do this while I curl my hair, too. After my hair is dry I cool off a bit if I have time and then curl it with my thick iron...if the first brushout is great then I spray, get dressed and voila I am ready. The great thing is, barring getting caught in the rain, etc, my hair stays fluffy and pretty much perfect all day. So the time spent is worth it.

I usually take a shower the night before, and I wake up at 4:15 AM so, usually a good 5-8 minutes and I'm out the door.

Here is my usual schedule if I have to go somewhere
1. Wake up
2. Put on my clothes
3. Have a cup of coffee and a ciggarette
4. turn on my hair straightner
5. pull my hair back and wash my face
step 1: Noxema Normal/Dry plus moisturizers
step 2: St. Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead control
step 3. Biore Pore Perfect Nose Strips (only if I really feel I need them)
6. Do my makeup
step 1: Maybelline NY Unstoppable eyeliner (on top and bottom)
step 2: Maybelline NY Full N' Soft Waterproof Mascara
step 3: Estee Lauder Pink Cloud blush
step 4: Fruit Frappe Likc-Able Lip Gloss in Luscious Berry (only if I want to feel girlish)
7. Straighten my hair with Remington Wet2Straight hair straightner
8. brush my teet
9. put on deoderent and cotton candy spray
*All of this takes about an hour since I like to take my time getting ready. *
On a school day:
1. Wake up
2. Put on clothes
3. Have a cigg. while putting on makeup
4. touch up my hair with my straightner
5. Have another cigg.
6. brush my teeth
7. Have a cigg and walk to the bus (this was when I didnt have my permit.. just got my permit...even though I'm 17, things came up so I just took drivers ed this summer...so i think I might be driving to school this year)
*It takes me about 30 minutes to get ready...I have to get ready really fast on school days*
*If I shower, it takes me about an hour more to get ready (if I blow dry my hair...If I dont blow dry my hair I wont be getting out of the house for a few hours)*

A School Day
it takes me 5 minutes to put on my clothes and 3 minutes to wash my face and brush my teeth and 15 minutes to do my hair (im a female, black teen with a lot of hair) and 5 minutes to get the things i need for school

It depends on what getting ready involves, it might mean different things for different people. For me, getting ready includes: shower, hair, makeup, contacts, eating breakfast, packing a lunch or snacks, and, since I'm not a morning person, "coming to" time. So it's about 1 and 1/2 hours.

it should take me one hour but i went through this crazy faze where no matter what i did if would always be 10 mins late like even if i went somewhere and hr early i would hit traffic or something stupid then all of a sudden it just went!!!!
Then again it depends when im gettin ready...it takes me longer in the morning than any other time!
If im goin for a drink it takes me like 20-30 mins.

about 45 minutes if i wash my hair, taking my time. about 30 min if i dont wash my hair. 20 minutes in a hurry

including my shower, 30 minutes. I let my hair dry naturally and I'm allergic to most make up so I don't wear any.

I can change, freshen-up, step out of the house in about 10 mins (min), without shower, but I must have my coffee.
