this is my first street bike, ive had dirt bikes and i still own a 2005 yamaha raptor 660 quad. and riding wheelies on it is no problem. but from what ive heard and researched on is that the 2006 yamaha r6 (not r6s) is verry diffirent from any bike cause its the first of its kind. i tried bouncing it to get the front wheel of the ground and no luck but i did dump the clutch and it came up but the rpm was verry high. any help would be awsome

You should stick to dirt bikes. You have no idea of what your doing!

It's like Yoda said " Do or don't do! There is no try!"

I believe Jared. First , in case you should attempt this ,Please placed on a great number of safe practices kit. Then detect a street without site visitors .ideally quite a few miles of instantly and flat street. next attempt it in 2d equipment . Get rolling and practice giving increasingly better better throttle. attempt this back and back untill you learn the position the rotation takes position. always conceal the rear brake pedal so that you're waiting to computer screen rear brake to diminish the front wheel. On an R6 as you roll alongside in 2d equipment and gradually provide it gasoline untill the wheel lifts up , then controll the hight by technique of feathering the throttle ,if it is going too extreme note that rear brake somewhat. bear in mind start up operating in route of this by technique of gradually including throttle.Take a even as , you received't get the wheel up the first 20-30 or better tries yet finally it is going to ensue. Dont bypass nuts , in case you only benefit some inches it is sweet. be positive to keep the take care of bars instantly as you try this . also in case you learn a thanks to do wheelies get waiting to rebuild the front forks.

Before you go any further, find out where your oil pump is located. If the pickup is at the front of the pan, you can starve your engine, and that will ruin your day. If the revs are too high, try going up one gear before you lift the front end.

your going too slow so when front end comes up your not in powerband and it drops again. probably need to be doing about 50mph in third, drop into second and gas it . when you recover, go back and pick up all the pieces.
(at least its not as bad as Kawasaki GPZ750 turbo, wouldnt wheelie much below 120, boost too low and front too heavy)

One tire on the ground (preferably the back one) and one in the air.

by a video game. Leave it on the ground. (try bungie jumping or skydiving, at least those are legal.)
