I love everyone ,but I have always been attracted to Hispanic men only, its like I could see 2 men one can be a white male and the other can be a light skin blue eyed Hispanic and without even knowing their ethnicity I will be attracted to the Hispanic one. Is this normal, would you say it’s a little racial? I hope not bcuz I honestly get along and appreciate all cultures..

I think that's crazy to even think that is racism. You cannot help what race a person is that you are attracted to. I am sure that if a good looking white guy came alone that did it for you, you would like them as well. Your taste in men just leans towards Latin men, big deal. I am the same way. Latin men are sexy, that is just that! I used Tobe married to one who turned out to be an ***, eventually I met a white guy who I found just as sexy and we have been together for 3 years. You are attracted to what you are attracted to, don't feel bad for it, it is just you!

No, that's not racism, it's just that you have positive feelings towards Latinos. How can something positive be bad?

I love everybody, too. Except racists. They're the only minority who choose to be exactly what they are.

I, myself, am 3/8 American Indian and 5/8 white. Although I look 100% white, I've always been attracted to dark-skinned brunettes. I'm an Ohioan who lived in Texas for awhile, George Bush's home state. Racism is very prevalent in Houston, where I lived. As a Buckeye from an open-minded family and community, I wasn't used to this.

Therese, my new girlfriend from Houston, had a Costa Rican mother and a Mexican father. She was as sweet as sweet could be. Despite that, my coworkers called her racist slurs to her face and behind her back, the worst of which was my "Sp*c B*tch." Naturally, I was very upset and didn't stand for that.

So I said, "I know how you rednecks are. I can't blame you for being bigots. It's how you were brought up and how you were born. You don't like anybody unless they look exactly like you. That's why you won't even date anybody unless you're already related. Your parents didn't, either."

It was racist when they did it to Therese and myself. When I did it back to them, it was self-defense and showing them a taste of their own medicine. I hope there is a difference. The smart ones learned, or at least they left us alone after that. I guess the rest of them kept on dating their cousins.

It's not a racist thing. If you're attracted to Hispanic men, then you're attracted to Hispanic men -- nothing wrong with that. It would be a racist thing if you have a blanket policy that you won't go out with a guy unless he IS Hispanic. That is the textbook definition of discrimination. So as long as you're not excluding anyone solely because of their racial background, you're cool.

Scientist, sociologist etc. The people who study why we are the way we are....as of late are getting more and more into what I like to call "Genetic Imprinting". A lot more cases of young children recognizing people they have never met before as their 'father, mother, uncle, grandma etc. in a prior life. this is heady stuff and not yet considered a science. These children usually 'outgrow' and forget these "Genetic Impressions" by their teen years. So I offer it to you as a possible consideration for your "attractions" to Hispanics. I don't see you as a racist from the little I know about you. Oh by the way..............welcome to the ....."Twilight Zone".

Ask yourself the simplest of questions: If you chose the while male would you be racist against the Hispanic. Of course not. I wish people would forget about racism, it is a load of old cobblers. You can like or dislike anything, any food, any clothing, any country, any race, any religion PROVIDED that you do not allow your like or dislike to effect your judgment especially in employment and such. In actual fact, I used to teach my young probationers that it was far better to know who the racist was as you knew exactly where you stood with him, it was the one who gave all the signs of being non-racist, yet when it came to choice he would always choose the colour or race he preferred.

Not unless a white man trys to hit on you and you say, "Sorry I'm only Attracted to Hispanic guys." Unless you say somthing like that then it's not racism.

I don't think so -- racism is usually the negative feelings towards one group, not the excessive positive feelings you describe. Even if you said "i am not physically attracted to any white man" that isn't racism because it isn't based on their position as "white" but on your chemical and emotional response to the individuals you have run in to. You aren't excluding any future white man because he is of a group, just saying "i have always" -- past tense.

I say, you're in the clear.

No, I don't think it's racisim. I'm a white female and generally only date white males. It's not that I'm not attracted to other races, I suppose it's just my preference. You know what and who you are attracted to and there is nothing wrong with that. My Aunt is white but she tends to only date black and mexican men. It's her preference. Hopefully this helped. ^_^

You fall for who you fall for... I was always attracted to the tall, blue-eyed, slim, rocker-haired blonds with little or no body hair. I married a man who is barrel shaped, dark extremely short hair, brown eyes and lots of body hair. I love him more than any of what I previously thought was my "ideal" so you just never know.
