If he never got hurt he would go down as the greatest player ever to have played the game. Offensively and Defensively he was perfect. He used to hit for average and power, he was intelligent and quick on the base paths, and he was also clutch under pressure situations (no A-Rod #'s). Defensively, he was a perfect in center field, a multiple gold glove winner.
Bonds would be fighting Ruth and Aaron for number 2 behind Griffey on "Who's the Greatest?"

He probably would have. Just like Ted Williams would have easily cleared 700 homers if he didn't lose 5 seasons to military service and Babe Ruth would have had 850-900 homers if he didn't start as a pitcher in the dead ball era (pre 1920)

Its definately possible. Its sad that he got injured because he would of handily passed Hank Aaron and would of done it steroid free. If Arod and Pujols can stay healthy through they bothshould be able to make a run at 755.

if griffey had stayed healthy yes, i think he would be right around bonds right now, but he didnt...hes been my favorite player since he came up with the mariners, beautiful swing
i can't stand a-rod, however i think he absolutely WILL break whatever the record is at that time, if its aaron's 755, he will break it, if bonds break it and it counts then a-rod will surpass him

That's the shittiest argument ever. If A-Rod started a little younger and if the Yankee stadium was a little smaller then A-Rod would have had 2 Million Home Runs right?

he would be and if he could stay healthy for another 5 years or so, he'd still have a chance...if he decides to play that long.
