I thought i did say he was a bad singer.
And they only reason he's in that commercial is b/c Ford and American Idol are in cahoots with each other.

First of all this guy Taylor Hicks is the worst singer I have ever heard. When he was singing TIME OF MY LIFE in the last show, he as the male vocalist was supposed to sing the harmony to the females main line. He didn't even do that. He sang the same notes as the female singer. And he couldn't even sing that on key. He sucks, he is the worst and I can't understand how America would vote for this ugly salt and pepper haired monster looking bastard. As for the Ford commercial, he sucks singing in that also. That was probably the big contract he signed after he was named AMERICAN IDOL. More an American Idiot than anything else.

Yes! What on earth does Taylor Hicks have to do with a pickup truck? He's just singing in that commercial- he's not doing anything to promote the product itself... it's not like they show him driving one or anything! What marketing doofus came up with that idea?

I didn't know he had a commercial! I want to see it! In my opinion, don't you dare say he's not a good singer. He's not my style or favorite artist, necessarily, but I think he's really cool! And a nice guy to boot! So there!

I have only seen it a few times. I still like it. I am a 1960s soul fan and that is his style.
