I gave up voting a long time ago. I figure any President in America will be just like the Scarecrow from the wizard of OZ when he says to Dorothy with a pole shoved up his back, " Well, you could go that way, um-mm. Well that's a nice way too", as he flailed his arms from side to side.
The last election we had 2 choices a Schmuck or a Fool. People that voted elected a Fool. Not that the Schmuck would have been any better because quite frankly i don't think Kerry could find his butt in the dark with both hands and a flashlight. The point being is who ever gets sent by either party Democratic or Republican won't be worthy of electing.
Part of the requirement to run is you have to be able to lie and deceive and not give a damn about anybody but who you took money from to get elected. Those are some very bad traits to have to be a leader. A potential President may not have those traits when he/she starts running but they will if they get elected.

I'm a registered independent who definitely leans to the left. I think that if Hilary Clinton is the Democratic nominee, then it will be a Republican because its country isn't ready for a female president. Hopefully a Democrat though.

Maybe Hillary Clinton? I haven't been paying attention to the rumors lately. I think it's about time for a woman president, though, and I know Rice doesn't want to run. At least that's what she said once.

Rudy Gulianni, a TRUE leader, as president and Condi Rice, a brilliant diplomat, as vice president. That combo would be a government for, of and by the people.
