absolutely! an example would be skin color within the filipino culture. those with darker skin, are viewed as inferior by those with lighter skin - even though they're all filipino. Don't worry, as soon as money is involved, those shades of color all start to look green.

I think there are people who do hate their own ethnic background, I’ve met quite a few. They exist in every color and come from every part of the globe. I think hating your own heritage is a form of therapy for some. A great rage often masks an even greater sorrow. If someone is unhappy with certain aspects about themselves it sometimes can be relieving to project those same failures and painful realities onto another. Therefore an entire race or culture can play scapegoat to someone’s short comings. I think when people learn to love themselves they in turn will learn to love other people, cultures and races.

Yes, I think so. There was a girl on the Tyra show once who was. They actually critisized her alot for it and I dont think they should have because everyone is entitled to their own personal views and opinions. I think that alot of people who are raccist against their own ethnicity, are racist because they are embarrassed of their own race. You know what I mean? Who knows. :)

I know a black man used to hate other blacks. I think it is because he grew up in a ghetto, and so many of his black school mates were hateful and felt they didn’t stand a chance because of their ethnics.

He is not like that any more. He met other blacks that went to college with him. Perhaps it was the people from his hood he hated, not their color?

I always ask why hate anyone. We are all the same on the inside.
