My friend and I applied for walmart but the application said they drug test and she smokes weed. Anyone that works at walmart please asnwer.......do they really drug test? some companies claim to but they really dont.

Yes ... everyone I know who's worked at WalMart for the past 20 years has had to undergo pre-employment drug screening, without fail.

The WalMart in my home town has a sign that clearly states drug testing will be performed prior to hiring.

yes, I've heard from other people on here that they do, but I think it depends on the company, or which walmart. Some companies only do it if the person is going to work with children.

perhaps upon hiring they do. but if you have about 50 buck(which you probly dont cause you're applying at walmart)they do sell a drink ant nutrition stores and head shops that will clean your system.
And i'd like to state for the record WAL-MART is the DEVIL.

Yeap, Wal-Mart, Target, Sportchalet and some other major dscnt. stores. Big 5 even gives a lie detector test at times, can you believe it! I guess too many self-dscnt sales or "special" lay away programs.

Yes, they do. If you don't smoke, she can use some of yours or someone elses. I won't tell you how, you will have to figure that out.

Yep..they sure do......I know for a fact, I used to work for them a while back.....so, yep....they do!! But hey, it's a good company to work for, so it's all worth it!
