a few things to try at home.... switch to a very gentle face wash ("purpose" liquid soap or even Aveeno baby shampoo) and use lukewarm water. then moisturize your face with Eucerin cream. you can put a LOT of Eucerin on those dry patches several times a day.

if that doesn't help clear it up, you really should see a dermatologist or an allergist.... a dermatologist can prescribe meds to put on top, and an allergist can determine if you have any underlying allergies that cause breakouts (my best friend gets eczema on her arms from eating soybeans.... crazy huh?)

There is a wonderful product out there called Eucerin cream. It's in the aisle with hand lotions, and it works like magic. I have eczema too, and the first time I used it, it took care of it! Even the medicated creams usually took 3-4 applications. You may need to use it more than once on really bad spots, but it's a lifesaver.

I would contact you Dr or dermatologist. They have some great prescription creams both steriod and non that will greatly reduce the red areas. Also for and OTC quick fix, Aquaphilic is a great intense cream that will help with the dry skin.
