Some married couples can and do stay committed to each other and their marriage. I think if the mutual love and respect is there, it is totally possible for a couple not to stray.

Because they lacked the commitment to each other when they were married.
Trust me on this one, if they were commited to each other from the start, they'd still be commited to each other. Most women think that by marrying a man they can change his ways..."Oh, I hate the way he chases women and when I marry him, he'll stop...blah blah blah..." and most men think that marrying a woman will mean he can cheat because "it's just sex...it's not love...blah...blah."
Both are wrong.

If God isn't in their marriage from the beginning (unless they bring him in later after it didn't work without Him), and in each of their hearts, it just won't work.
God IS Love, and commitment in marriage isn't truly possible without love.

They can, but it takes work. Love and marriage is a choice. Too many people think that if things are perfect, they should just divorce. Most problems can be worked through.

because they want to try sex with someone new.
or they are poor and she needs to golddig somewhere else
