To get rid of fat you need to do cardio....like 45 minutes a day if you are serious. To build the muscles in your tummy you need to do crunches. The most effective crunches to do (and best to get a curve there) are the bicycle kind where you come up and touch your elbow to the opposite knee. I do at least 45 minutes of abs a day. Also to get your lower belly cross your legs and point them up in the air. Then in slow controlled motions (always slow and controlled motions with each exercise) push your legs up while lifting your back off the floor to your shoulder blades. At the same time you need to reach for your toes. It works......trust me. Also in order to lose weight you need to burn off more calories than you take in. That is the only way to lose weight. It's that simple. But these are some good steps to get the effect you are after. Flat tummy with nice abs. Nice arms really look good with this too, so I'd work my arms out as well. Hope this helps you out.............

Cardio is a great way to burn fat. You will notice the difference all over your body. 30 minutes 3-4 times a week.
After that, do some situps and crunches. I would explain some good ones, but it is best to get a fitness mag. They always have good ones in there. Do the situp routine every day even when you don't do the cardio... but it is important to do it after cardio as then you are burning fat.
Also, try kickboxing. Good cardio and those high kicks are great for abs.
Also, watch the carbs and stock up on good lean protein such as protein bars, tuna and chicken. Watch the sugar and juices.

With plenty of water, sit ups, crunches or a "six second abs", it really work, that is how I got rid of mine stomach fat and most of all stop drinking soft drinks, they contribute to your belly fat a lot. Email me when (not if, but when) it work. You have to stick to it though like any diet. Good Luck
