Why would someone do this?

Question

Someone always answers questions and tells people to watch it that they may get reported even when the question is not offensive. Would telling someone that not be an answer and subject the person who told that be terms to report someone? Just wondering what everyone else's opinion on that would be.

meemee, I know I have never reported anyone. I don't get offended by much. If I find it offensive I just don't bother answering it. Guess its some peoples way of gaining points when they don't really have an answer to give someone.

I have reported a few and won't be bullied for my option to do so.

I'm sure that there are people who are always getting their shorts/panties in a wad or a bug up their whatever and report others constantly.
Don't think many of the reports are acted on, but their are a few that are so blatant and like it or not kids as young as 10 are trolling for them! Even if someone gets kicked off, they just get back on with a different name until they're kicked off again.

Most people aren't going to report you when they say they are, because you aren't being that objectionable, so don't sweat it!

what one person thinks is in good taste another thinks is in poor taste....4 example.........if u ask a Q on there and u are wanting to know about your penis....then why say ....D**k....r they doing this to incite people to get upset....i think yes....i am not offended by much....my ears or eyes are not virginal....i lived in Chicago growing up..but we do have to remember that there are lil (pre-teens) on here too.....i did report someone the other day...the picture was very offensive ......but when i was looking at the choices ...there really wasn't a category 4 that so i just put adult content...what else could i have put?i am not sure if this is what u wanted but i tried to have u see ...1 person can be offended where the other is not...

Reporting isn't always based on the offencive nature.Questions like How are you or Do you like my avatar are questions that are braking the rules.I know,to me it's a bit silly,but true.I myself tell people to watch it,that they may get reported,(but also answer the question)but that is all in a good atention.I never report,unless it is a truly offencive question.You should check out this link for more information:

I think that Yahoo ignores 99.9% of the "reports" they receive. Otherwise they'd have to hire many people just for that. And you can always find someone who is offended by anything, and who thinks that others should behave the way he/she believes they should.

I haven't heard of it, but then again I don't look back on questions I have answered so anyone can get upset my by answers if they want, it is my 2 cents.

i think if they didn't do anything wrong or offend anybodsy, the people are dumb to report the person.
