Orlando is way better, not to discount WPB, but WPB is a very expensive place to live. WPB is beautiful, has great restaurants, beaches, but not much to do.

Orlando is wonderful. There is so much to do (other than Disney!) It isn't as expensive as WPB, but housing costs are going up.

I live in O-town and will stay here as long as I can!

I have never been to West Palm Beach. If I lived in Orlando, I would probably try to get a job at Disney World.

(Either way, they are both probably better than the city I live in)

West Palm Beach because it is near the ocean.
However, Orlando may offer more career oppportunites and job employment, but, the traffic can be grueling at times.

Lived in both cities and both have there pro's and con's, here are a few in my opinion...

WPB:
Pro's
- one of the most beautiful places I've seen
- closer to the beaches
- great area (not as much crime being done)
Con's
- closest mall was almost an hour away (until I moved then one went up closer)
- expensive
- snotty people (I was in 8th grade and dealing with snotty (pre)teens)

Orlando:
Pro's
- home to the best theme parks in the world
- if you specialize in hospitality, then this is the place to be
- mall and outlet mall galore
Con's
- gets to be expensive
- tourists
- beaches aren't around the corner

I have lived all over FL (literally) for the 19 yrs of my life and my personal favorite place to live was Tampa...
