In many pockets, purses, and automobiles around the world!

so, Grab a crowbar*** and go on a cell 'phone hunt'!!!

Or, try going without a cell phone for a while, pretend like it is 1845, and dress in period clothing! It will be an experiment in possessions and the true 'need' behind half the things we own these days!!!

***Many pieces of zombie-related fiction, such as Max Brooks' The Zombie Survival Guide, make special note of the crowbar as perhaps the best all-around mêlée weapon—not only does it make a useful tool, but it is light enough to be carried and wielded quickly, but heavy and durable enough to deal an effective blow, with a pointed end capable of penetrating a skull.

Why don't you try your local garage sales. Of course you have to shell out a few dollars from $2 to $5, well that's a bargain. I got a new one for only $3.00 from a garage sale.
An absolutely free cellphone is hard to find unless you are willing to trade something for it.
Try this website:

You could be on your way to trading for a cellphone in your local area.

OK, i know for a fact free cell phones exist. when i used to work for a cingular dealer. . we used to Donate old customer phones to the local Police station & to the Batterd womens society.

Depending on your state, you may be able to pick one up at the local Police station. Or your local Cell phone dealer might have an old that he can sell you for $20 - $30. Now this will only work for older cell phones..
like TDMA or CDMA. . If you are with a GPS carriier like t-mobile or cingular. . it is harder. . then check out E-bay . .you can find cheap cell phones there..
