Yes, he was originally supposed to be in the new movie, but his touring schedule got in the way, so now he's supposed to be in the third one instead.

It was rumored that he was supposed to play Jack's father, although I read today from a link on darkhorizons.com that Keith Richards' character name on the next Pirates movie is Captain Teague. Though I don't know how reliable the source is, if it's right I guess Richards isn't going to be Jacks father.

even as all the pirates got here to the table to talk a thanks to address the concern with Calypso, his dad comes out at that aspect. He purely has a pair strains and then makes an appearence excellent on the coolest of the action picture. Did you're taking a pee smash?

No he wasn´t. Depp spent time with him to try and pick up some of his caracter. BUT believe it or not they have all ready planned a third one and thats where he will play his dad
