I got a Movie that says it's imported but it's not dubbed, not copied and it's brand new, never opened and original box set of this movie, well actually it's a tv show from tv that is a box set. So is basically the same as US? Do you think I will have any problems with it being imported?

There may be a few differences with the box set that you have.

Typically, Imported sets are not NTSC - that is the broadcast format that your TV's work on here in North America. The discs you have may be in PAL format - a standard used in Europe some parts of Asia.

It should say on the packaging somewhere which format it is in.

Also, a lot of Imports are not DVD, but instead they are VCD - or Video CD's. Most of the cheaper DVD players ($70 or less) in the US will play these disks, but not all.

Third, if the TV show was originally produced for the US market, then the shows should be just about %100 the same. However, if the show was Canadian produced or from the UK or other English speaking country (I assume the show is in English?) then there are usually some minor edits, most because of trademark or copyright laws.

Sometimes a scene will be deleted in the US version because ABC holds the rights to all the Beatles songs and Friends (NBC) had a scene with a Beatles song in the background. <-- Fake example but you get the point.

check if its Region Free because I think our DVD's play on Region 1 but some DvD's are also Region Free.
Just to be sure check the Region and the playing capablities. If all that is okay then you should not have any problems.
