Mostly, it is the Carribbean: The Bahamas, Dominica, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Disney has their own island called castaway cay, so it could have been filmed there, also. (thats in the Western Caribbean)

It was filmed in Bali Bali, which is in the south pacific. It's a very beautiful place and I would fully reccomend going there, it has great scuba diving.

It wasn't filmed on an island it was filmed in Rosarita Mexico.
