I love my girlfriend and she wanted to stay at my house while I was gone to work. I didn't think she would want to be here without me and sent her home. She took it the wrong way and now is questioning my feelings for her.

Repentance. True regret for the harm you have caused, determination not to cause that type of harm again and real efforts to undo the hurt that harm has caused.
Your motives weren't evil... the harm was unintentional. Repent. Express your sorrow and your determination not to repeat it. Since the harm was caused by miscommunication... communicate! Talk to her. Explain, then undo the harm by inviting her to stay.
p.s. Women are attracted to confidence and strength. It takes a strong man to admit he was wrong, accept fault, apologize and make it right. Be strong. You'll be amazed how attractive that can be.

Why did you send her home after she asked to stay at your house? If she asked to stay and wait for you, obviously she wanted to hang out till you got back. Just tell her you are sorry and she is welcome to stay anytime she would like. If you both love each other, how come she don't have a key. Good Luck and Take Care.

Buy her some roses, make her dinner,(or order in if you can't cook, lol,) put on some soft music, light some candles. Invite her to stay the night, then let her stay in the morning when you go to work. What will it hurt, unless you've got something to hide?

Cook dinner for her. I mean COOK it, not heat it up in a microwave ; ). Women like people who take time and effort to apologize instead of going out and buying a rose.
