Alcohol is metabolized at the rate of 2/3 of a standard drink per hour. A standard drink is 12 ounces of beer, 4 ounces of wine, 8 ounces of wine cooler or one ounce of hard liquor at 86 proof. When the alcohol is out of the blood, it is no longer affecting the drinker, but it may still be in the urine -- at least metabolites may be.

There is no specific answer to this. It depends on how much alcohol, strength of it, how your body reacts to it, your height and weight .... I could go on for a long time about this. The fact remains that if you are going to drink, don't drive. You may still be over the safe limit up until lunchtime or later, the day after you've been drinking. Please don't risk your life or the lives of others.
