I've been to Iran and its a great county with kind people.
the only problem is the Government, who are repressive (not just my opinion but also of Iranians) I think the USA should look more to their own problems in stead of pointing out other countries as being "dangerous" or "terrorist supporting"
1 thing though... i think women should be able to choose if they want to wear a scarves or not (its up to them and not the government)
but i agree... people should visit Iran (and have a great time there) and see how nice the people are.

I'm sure you're right that we in the West are fed a lot of propaganda about Iran. It is certainly true that under Shah Reza Pahlavi that America and the West exploited your country.
However, I am also sure that you are also fed a lot of propaganda within your own country. Just because the Moslem faith teaches that you don't have the right to attack anyone (and I'm sure that's true) doesn't mean that all Moslem's abide by these laws. Some don't, this is a fact.
Your president has certainly said some very hostile things, particularly towards Israel. Though Israel may be to blame for some aspects of their relationship with both the Arab world and the Iranians, they have the right to exist and to security. Your president does not seem to respect that right.
Iran also persecutes its religious minorities, especially the Baha'i faith which the Moslem religious leaders see as heresy. The point is, that every one has the right to choose their own faith, or should. This right should be respected for Baha'i's as well as for Moslems.
I wish you peace and for your country as well.

i have no problem with Iran as a country. the government seems to get a little extreme by funding Hezbollah. how would you feel if we elected a president who was responsible for kidnapping and terrorizing Iranian students 30 years ago?

No one is against the innocent people in Iran, they are against the crazy dictator that supports terrorists and says things such as "I want to wipe Israel off the map." And for what reason?
Also, no one has said that Muslims are terrorists; however, most terrorists are in fact Muslim.
If you are in fact Iranian, then I suggest that you get better information on American culture and current events within the world.

Seriously your leader is craaaaaaaaazy. You're enriching uraniumn to make nuclear weapons. If you weren't going to do that, then your government would have made the deal with the russians fo nuclear energy.

It's not all your people we are worried about. It's your nutcase leader. The leader who says that the Holocaust never happened and wants to push Israel into the ocean. If you want to buy the propaganda from your leaders that they don't nuclear weapons go right ahead. I myself would prefer not to just cross my fingers and hope with your current leaders.
