say for instance that I became a famous politican, celebrity, or say the general manager of a professional football team. Remember this is all hypothetical and I just threw out some big titles. If any of those things ended up becoming true would old friends that I hadn't talked to in years, and people that I didn't get along with ( people I disliked), would they be able to profit from my success??? Like by writing a book that was negative about me....or selling stuff to tabloids?????

keep in mind i'm talking about ordinary people making money off this not people that were already famous.

It's been known to happen. Think of all the papprazzi that chase down celebs and sell pics for thousands and thousands (sometimes millions) of dollars.

Just think if a friend had a pic of something embarrassing from your bachelor/ette party....GOD.... what would the press pay for that?

Anyone can write a book, even if it's full of lies.

Good luck becoming famous!
