Tough one. According to Christians, God should come first. I'm assuming that is what you mean by faith. I guess, for me, since I have faith in my family and my education, faith comes first. But if I were ill and had to choose between relying strictly on faith or family, I would choose my family. If I became ill, I would rather educate myself about it than rely on faith to heal me.

My grandmother had faith that God would cure her cancer. She died, and my mother became a foster child. My mother might not have met my father and I might not be here had it not been for my grandmother's "faith."

We can never really know what the consequences will be.
