Good suggestions so far ...I have zone alarm firewall, ewido antispyware, AVG anti-virus and a good registry cleaner. All the above show I have no problems. Why would I get a systems error when I did nothing to delete a systems file...Can I recover to a previous date and correct the problem instead of reformatting xp ..I don't want to lose all my settings and files? Thanks

That's a system error. You need to reformat your entire system because other applications are not working properly anymore... Do not install any other application because it will just create more problem. I'm a tech support for DSL connection and I know how things will occur if you install something on your system. It will just add up more files and just freeze up your entire system.

You need to make sure you've got Spybot installed and Adaware SE Peronal Addition on your computer. It could be files that downloaded to your computer corrupting it and limiting your functionality. Check out:

Run both programs and then see if your computer is working better. You can also just try defragging the C: drive (go to My Computer, Right-click C:, select Defragment). Hope this helps.

that is most probably caused by multiple windows system bugs and errors. you need to install a windows registry/system repair/fixer. e.g. TweakNow RegCleaner

go to: http://www.freewarefiles.com/program_9_100_9367.html

scan your pc using this application, and you can safely delete all the green tags in the results. run this program several times until there's no errors found, then restart your pc, and run this once more; and everytime you uninstall several programs over some period of time.

good luck!

Hi...could be your RAM. Sometimes if it gets too hot it could lock up your computer. Try getting some canned air and blow all the dust from the components within the tower (unless you have a laptop) and make sure your fans are blowing inside the case. Heat is electronics worst enemy!
