Because it's a different process to make gasoline. That's why you can't pour the oil from PepBoys into your tank to run off of.

And, get used to the incline. They say it's not going to come down....evar.

Gasoline is in higher demand and the Arab countires control the vast majority of the oil/gas...they don't like us -- we don't like them, they don't give us oil at a cheap price

I haven't paid attention to that before, but a lot of the oil there is synthetic or partially synthetic. I'm sure that has something to do with it.
