Yahoo Answers, is a great little experiment. I have gotten some great info from it. But I have had to wade through the bored doofuses, with not a cognitive thought in their little heads other that 'how stupid can my question be?, or 'Wheee, 2 points". How can we point or weed them out?

If someone answers like that, click on the "Report Abuse" link on the left side of the answer. Yahoo takes it seriously, because the "great little experiment" works much better when people adhere to the community guidelines...

some of the "asinine" answers you see on here to the "stupid" questions are 360 buddies who are just trying to make their buddies laugh, when they answer their questions.

Now granted, I'm not fond of seeing a lot of answers like "2 points, thanks!" or "I don't know" but I don't think it's possible to do anything about them unless you REPORT them. There is an option called "gaming for points" which can be used either for someone who asks a question and puts in "best answer gets 10 points" in the question, or for someone who answers only to say "thanks for the 2 points"

Don't. Just take the bad with the good. If you want a service where you don't have to step in dung before you get to the milk-cow, you'll probably have to pay a fee.

As soon as I can figure out what type of facial expression your avatar has. What... is it talking? Is it blowing on something? It's confusing.

If you're looking to organize a firing squad I have my own rifle and ammunition. I like you and your ideas. Any more like you at home?
