Both, I knew we wanted children, so in that way they were planned, but with each of my pregnancies, it was a surprise, but a planned surprise!

#1 and #2 were a surprise but a beautiful surprise. #3 "I" planned.

LOL they were beautiful suprises I wouldnt change anything that has happened for the world, I think I have become a better person because of my children. They are my world and they are growing so fast. I dont plan on having anymore, Im tired and need to stop changing pampers I have been changing them for 7 yrs now, when my #1 son was getting potty trained I found out we were pregnant again (senior in high school) then we had our daughter then when she was getting ready to be potty trained here comes #3 LOL when you guys do decide to have children you will see how they change your world.Good luck and play safe till your ready.

my son was not planned at all. I was only 19 and I got pregnant the first time having sex with his father. I was young and bthought about an abortion, but that just made me cringe. Then we talked about having him adopted, But couldn't bare the thought of going through all the pain to just have nothing.. So we decided to keep him. I would not trade him for the moon and stars. He is my guide in life. He helped me become what I am today. His fther and I split about 3 years ago. I am now married and planning my 2nd child. No luck yet but we still have plenty of time!!!!

My first was a surprise. #2 was planned. I'm ready for #3 but my wife is not just yet. I need 3 more to field a really good whiffle ball team.

I had a miscarriage in 2000 two months after our wedding that was a surprise.... then got pregnant with my son...a year earlier than we where wanting to so he was a surprise too.... I was 4 months pregnant when I found out!!! .... i switched BIRTH CONTROL i don't want another surprise

They were not a surprise but looking back there was not allot of planning that went into it either

I was planned. My parents only intended to have one child. Then Mom made the mistake of praying for patience, and the rude surprise of my brother was born!

One. Planned. The only surprise was that I was pregnant almost *immediately* after we "started trying".
Heck, we;d been doin' the nasty (carefully) for 13 years without any "suprises" - so I wasn't even sure I could get pregnant!
(Clearly, I could.)

2 were a surprise and my third was planned. It's much better planned. but can be heartbreaking when it doesn't happen.
