It depends on the mood. Sometimes I need some entertainment and sometimes I need information. It's like eating a huge hamburger with lots of pickles and onions, and then, well, okay, it's not like that at all. I don't know, this is a hard question.!.!

I am a writer, and find that most of my questions stem from curiosity about how other people go about their normal every day lives. I like to get opinions about things, and different perspectives on life. So I'd have to say that my questions fall more under the title of pointless, but they aren't entirely. At least to me! I might ask for a recipe once in a while, but haven't found a great deal of satisfaction in questions asking for advice. Mostly I don't feel that I need any, and maybe that's sad, maybe its not. LOL. I did put one out there about a noise my car made, and the answers were incredibly helpful and right on the money. I just enjoy this site, in all of its facets.

Sometimes pointless, sometimes for advice. I prefer answering pointless q's like this one-its fun and you don't have to know anything! B-)

I ask questions when I need info based on expereince, or I'm truley interested with what people really think about something (which is rare).
Unfortunately mostly silly questions get good answers.
