I am planning a trip to Oakland. The Amtrak is in Jack London Square. Is it feasable to walk (drive my electric wheelchair) to 23rd Avenue. My wheelchair runs at approx 6 miles per hour and runs on batteries that can last approx 3-4 hours going full throttle. : )

Yahoo said that the distance is 2.2 miles and the trip is this:

http://maps.yahoo.com/beta/#mvt=m&maxp=location&q2=23rd.%20Ave,%20Oakland,%20CA&q1=Jack%20London%20Square,%20Oakland,%20CA&trf=0&lon=-122.256589&lat=37.77465&mag=4

So I think that you can do the trip. I hope this help!

amtrak will assist you with that query. www.amtrak.com there is a local bus that goes downtown from the amtrak station every 20 minutes.
