It is all very simple. That is if you are both definite on what it is your keeping, and if you do or do not have kids. I filed my divorce through a para legal. By law, they are not to exceed a $200.00 limit. Can't really tell you why but it is. Now, here is the catch. You have to be the front runner. Unlike attorneys, para legals only fill your paper work for you. You have to in most cases file them and do all of any necessary errands. So if you can afford $200.00 and are able to run errands then go for it. It takes about 3-9weeks for the divorce to finalize..

are either of you planning on remarrying soon? if not, then just go about your business and act like your divorced. it's simply a piece of paper saying you're not married. You already probably feel that way.

Depending on your financial circumstances you might be able to go to Legal Aid, and they can tell you what your options are.

If you and your wife are both agreeable in regards to the divison of property and are civil with one another, you might be able to retain just one attorney instead of two.

Good Luck~*
