I am 13 and i have been waiting for my period to come and i havent gotten it yet and i did not have sex so what do i do

It will come soon enough, just give it time. Periods sucks anyway just be happy you don't have to deal with it. I didn't get my first period till I was 16. Don't be so eager to give it up at such a young age, you have a future ahead of you, it's easier not to worry about it, just for the facts that this day and age that girls are getting pregnant and having baby's at such a young age. Believe me its not fun. Live your life to the fullest, do what you must do to satisfy yourself, before you satisfy someone else.

Sweet heart your fine! your period is not regualr yet it takes about 2 -3 years for your period to become regular and sometimes girls have to see a doctor when not getting it every month! you may later on have to see someone but i doubt you'll have to your hormones are just changing so right now it's taking a bit longer! ok sweet heart!! so just wait for it, it will come! i promise. if you are not having sex you cant be pregnant! so just dont worry! you'lll be fine ok ! MUAH!

You wait, 13 isn't all that old. I know of many women who didn't start having periods until they were 16 or even older. Your body will start when it's ready to. Also, if you're very petite or very athletic you may start later as well. Don't worry!

Sometimes it doesn't come right at 13. I didn't end up starting mine until I was 14. So don't worry about it now. Just enjoy that you don't have to deal with that yet~

Wait. You cannot MAKE your period come. You don't want it, trust me. It's annoying, and painful, and it screws up a lot of really fun weekends when you get older. Some women do not get theirs until they are 16 or so, so be patient. It will come, and you will hate it just like we all do.

Okay sweetie, I am guessing that you are in 8th grade, maybe 7th? I am in 10th and one of my best friends is nearing 16 and she has yet to get her period. Don't have sex! You'll get it, your body just hasn't hit that stage yet. Your not missing anything great AT ALL. but if your really upset and worried and talking to your mom doesn't help. go to your doctor. He/She will give you the low down on the Down Low! If you get me!

It is different for every female. Just relax and wait it out. The average age is between 11 and 15 years old.

you don't need to do anything.
i was 14 years old. sex will not speed up anything (in fact, sex is sorta a bad idea too young, it can affect the development of your reproductive organs).
it will come soon and then you'll be stuck with bleeding once a month until your forties.
it really sucks.

I am also 13 and I haven't had mine yet either. My mom had hers on her 12th Birthday. Everyone is different. So just wait and see. Maybe you could talk to your mom or and older sister or someone if you are worried about it. Good Luck!
