Should a man be able to cry in front of his wife or should he hold it in?

A man should definitely be able to cry in front of his wife because she should be the closest thing to him right now. A wife is there for comfort and support no matter what is going on. If anybody should see you cry it should be your wife. You should never hold back any emotions from her no matter how embarassed you feel or look. I am very sensitive myself, so I naturally don't see where this is a problem.

A man should definitely be able to cry in front of his wife. Why should he act any different in front of her, the most intimate person in his life, than he would act if he were alone?

Believe it or not, men have all the same emotions as women!

My husband has broken down & cried in front of me a couple times... I'm always there to support him... of course, it makes me cry to see him so upset... and then he has to comfort me also... but we work through it together & that's what matters!

A man should be able to cry in front of his wife, but boy o' boy, there's no faster way to a really long "heart to heart talk" than that. I think that's the real reason most men don't cry in front of their wife.

Definitely able to cry, a man should show your feelings to their wife. I know it's not manly for a man to cry but at reasonable times, a man has to or else he's going to let the pain dilapidate his health as well as his emotions. If his wife doesn't know what's going on, things will happen. This is when the role of a wife comes in, she aids her spouse with affable care and definitely able to elate the spouse. Crying is habitual and something you're born with. It's an instinct. Men should cry or else they're considered timid and definitely abstinent.

only in certain things like if his someone in the family died or something serious but if my husband was crying in front of me because of something like a movie i'd be like wtf. Why should men get to cry if they pick on females for being emotional? I'm not being bias but when women try to do something like being a lawyer or whatever it is theyre talking about on tv when they say "a man's world", women have aldready had enough of a struggle doing things a normal person should be able to do, so why should men get to do things like crying which is not the ideal of a real man? A lot of men like executives think a women can never be what they are so why should they be allowed to just put that on hold and act like a chick.

Are you nuts? Every woman will tell you that you should be able to cry in front of them. They may be compassionate and bring out the mothering instinct but, trust me, they will lose respect for you as a man.
Woman are attracted to confidence and strength, not insecurity and fear. Crying, they may see you as a child to comfort, but they will not see you as a man to be attracted to. Unless you have huge self-esteem and tremendous respect from her as a man, crying is the worst thing you could do.

Depends on what you're crying over I think. If it's little things, then I feel like that's something you should be able to control as a man. But if it's something really terrible like a death or accident, then you should feel free to cry infront your wife.
