I think they're annoying and should get some damn jobs. This is coming from a college student. I don't like looking at those bums.

I don't think all teenagers are need of parental supervision at the mall. I am suprised that a lot of the stores at the mall aren't complaining due to the drop in business. I am sure there are probably a few immature teens who act inappropriately when they get in large groups and probably should have parental supervision in the mall but I think it should be handled on a case by case basis. What about the teens that work in the mall? I think if adults choose not to go to the mall it is because they can get the same thing in a store outside of the mall alot quicker. Adults don't have time to window shop in the mall as much as they used to.

if they want to hang out they should go elsewhere. Malls are to shop and most of them dont shop or have money for that matter. Not to mention that they just stand around staring and talking about other people. Plus they slow up others such as myself by having to duck and dodge them because they walk so slow probably hoping some cute boy/girl will look their way. I think its a great idea to have them accompanied by a parent. All they do is take up space which makes people not want to go to the mall becasue it's so crowded. Like i said, if they want a hang out place then they should go to a friends house or chuck e cheese.

I don't think it's fear (unless you're in a gang infested mall) as much as annoyance.

Kicking the teenagers out is a band-aid solution to the bigger issue of why don't teenagers behave more politely in public. Many kids these days say and do things in public what people of my generation consider impolite, if not downright rude.

I think that requiring a parent to be with them is a little much, but I do hate going to the mall and seeing a bunch of pre-teen and young teen little punks just hanging out there all day, it's a little ridiculous.

I totally agree with the policy. When I see a group of loud mouth teens walking towards me in a mall I panic. All of them seem to be bullys.

I have never ecountered the stereotypical mall rat. I'm a teenage college student and I wish security would kick me out...

If they are causing problems, then yes. Or, if there's an overabundance of "mallrats", otherwise, nobody should be kicked out of a public place because of their age, unless it's a bar or nudie shop.

i think we should be allowed to hang out with just our friends because who wants to be with their parent? most of us are not bad.

I eat them for lunch and sh*it them out in tightly coiled piles in the parking lot.
