yes you can but your better off leaving it to the experts phone a good bike shop and book it in for a service (yes you can have a service on a pushbike) about 15 quid with seals on top

take them to the bike shop and get a full service for about 50 quid

depends on make and year. some have parts lists (Rock Shocks, Fox, etc) cheaper ones are not generally rebuildable as there are no parts available
