Hey Kwame,
Well it wasn't exactly in the world cup as such...I'm an Aussie and 2 of my daughters and I were tucked up in my water bed watching Australia V Croatia. I was on edge the whole time. When Poll gave Simunic the 2 yellows and didn't send him I jumped up sooo quick, ranting and raving ( like he could hear me..) screaming at the TV that I couldn't get my balance and went A$$ over head backwards off the bed straight onto my butt. I didn't think it was all that funny at the time, but my daughters were sure in Hysterics, they laughed themselves stupid for an hour....lol

The Portugal vs Nerderland match in which cards were issued like fans waving flags!! But the funniest aspect was when after both sides had been issued 2 red cards each the four players sat together behind the lines and chatted about what was going on the field even pointing out the mistakes of their teams together-like old friends and not those they were almost fighting againt a few minutes ago.LOL!! I was wondering-can they be friends only behind the lines?? And fight themselves likes kids over the last sweet on the pitch??
To me the second funniest was the Ukrain Vs Switzerland match,no cards and yet the players were just falling down!! oh ? Instead of hiting the ball they will miss and fall down at a point I was wondering- is the pitch that wet??

As a Scot, it was when England went out and all the English walked out of the bar. (Some were in tears). It was hilarious.
Also when that English fool Graham Poll booked that guy 3 times before sending him off.
What an embarrassing World Cup for England. HA HA HA.

well though i am a portugal/italia fan (sorry france, liked you guys too, but tough luck) and must say the funniest was cristiano ronaldo falling every single time he got the chance during a game. and i mean game as in every portugal game played.
during the germany game i think it was (3rd place game) i think the annoucers were so sick of ronaldo falling cuz at one point they were like "and there goes ronaldo falling again" and the other guy going "yea well i guess thats the immaturity of a 21 yr old player".
dont know why but i just found that hysterical. cuz if you re-watch each portugal game. i swear he falls (mostly on purpose) more than 20 times a game.

I think the funniest thing throughout the entire world cup was how Maxi Rodriguez just launched himself into the air and punched Schweinsteiger or it would have to be Cristiano Ronaldo's tuck and roll against France.

The headbutt was great, seeing Zidane's career fall apart at the very end was hysterical.
Another really funny thing was Peter Crouch fighting against the ball every time they met. Hard to believe there is actually people who believe he is a football player.

that guy who took 3 yellow cards and the referee never realized that.....
and also the referee in holland vs portugal match who gave a yellow card for every foul
that was damn funny
and when the referee in the last match kept falling on the ground

Funniest thing...hmmm i suppose it was Sven believing England would win the World Cup....Other than that....the Holland v Portugal game....greatest bit of entertainment of the whole thing...
