i went to a friend house to pick him up work he didnot have ride when i got there a girl was leaving?

iwent inside he told me to have a sit went i sat down there was crack and a pipe sitting on the table i told him he said she would be back to get her stuff 2min.later she knock on the door he open it and the landlord was there with police to serve eviction papers on him i get stuck with the charges because i was next to it (iwas getting up from the table when the police said dont move put your hand on the table)what can i do to beat this charge???

First off, come clean. My bullsh!t detector is going off here. Everyone who gets caught with drugs has a different scenario for why it isn't theirs. Nobody is going to believe you, including me.

If I'm wrong and it really isn't yours, then the truth is what will beat this charge. That, a good lawyer, and a great investigator.

If a drug test was taken (you could ask for one) it would say you were not on any drugs. Then, the burden of proof lies with the police. They have to prove you were indeed using drugs but without proof (drug test) that's quite unlikely. However, you may indeed be charged for possession since you were at the house with the guy, that is easily proved. Either way, you need a smart lawyer. Good luck!

If you and your friend was caught with drugs the jugde is going to find you both quilty.Thats why you should choose your friends wisely to not affiliate with drugs, drug addicts and ppl who hang with drug addicts. You should not be anywhere around drugs, police do not care who it belongs to if your around it you are guilty.but if your white they will take it easy on you(you have what blk ppl call "the white away".

get a lawyer, explain your story. get your friends boss to tell them that you drive your friend to work everyday and that he had work that day and was supposed to be there. Any other witnesses?
